About

kev/n is a producer, DJ, and rapper. Output spans DJ mixes, rap records, original beats, and dance music — from club-ready four-on-the-floor to slower, late-night cuts and everything in the cracks.

The project lives somewhere between house, breaks, and rap — with mixes that don't care which one they're supposed to be. Records are released in short bursts: singles, EPs, verses, unannounced mixes dropped without warning, and the occasional edit that only really makes sense at 3am.

Previously known as

Earlier work was released under the alias DJ Kevlar. The name was retired after it became clear that everybody and their cousin was already using it — a quick search turns up bulletproof-vest puns from at least three continents. The slash in kev/n is a small act of self-defense against namespace collisions.
